REWILDING PATAGONIA

FEBRUARY 24 – MARCH 6, 2027

WHAT WILL WE EXPERIENCE ON THE TRIP?

CUEVA DE LAS MANOS

A UNESCO world heritage site featuring some of the oldest hunter gatherer art in the Americas: hundreds of hand stencils—some more than 9,000 years old.

LAGUNAS ALTAS

The trail traverses a chain of high-altitude lagoons with sweeping views over Valle Chacabuco. This is a long but achievable day for anyone with moderate fitness.

TRAVEL VIA 4 X 4

We’ll have access to places that a buses and vans cannot go as we will travel the entire trip in well equiped 4×4 vehicles

PATAGONIAN WILDLIFE

Guanacos, pumas, choiques, maras and other wildlife abound on the beautiful landscapes of this lesser traveled region of Patagonia that we have chosen for you.

MARBLE CAVES

Over millennia, wave action has sculpted swirling caverns and pillars from solid marble. Reflected glacial light gives the chambers shifting blues and turquoises colors.

LAGO PUEYRREDÓN

Straddling the border between Chile and Argentina and featuring a gorgeous isthmus where two different color lakes meet.

ACTIVE GLACIERS

See the Southern Patagonian Ice Fields up close. The scale of the ice and the surrounding wilderness make this one of the most powerful days of the journey.

VALLE CHACABUCO

100,000 hectares purchased by conservationist Douglas Tompkins as part of one of South America’s most ambitious rewilding initiatives.

UPSCALE LODGING

We have hand selected some of the finest lodging available in the area so that you have a comfortable place to dine and rest.
